Amur Plaza Expansion

Amur Equipment Finance approached Grow Grand Island with a vision and design for the plaza area in Railside which expands the existing gathering area and creates a greenspace environment, as well as a permanent stage.  As equal funding partners, the project began in the late summer of 2022.  Grow Grand Island then added public ADA-compliant restrooms to the project.

Both Amur and Grow Grand Island see this project as a quality-of-life asset to the residents of Grand Island, as well as an asset for the purposes of talent attraction and retention.  There is entertainment value, greenspace value, and flare for continued Railside development.

This park-like area will be used for the annual HEAR GI concert series.  The area can also be utilized for other events that are suited for this type of outdoor venue.
